What is a Tribute Fund?
A Tribute Fund is a type of gift registry. It is a great
way for a community of donors to contribute to a major redwood
tribute that no one donor could easily afford. |
What is a "Major Redwood Tribute"?
In cooperation with the California State Parks Department,
a living redwood tree ($500+) or
a redwood grove ($25,000+)
can be dedicated within our coastal redwood parklands. |
When are Tribute Funds appropriate?
- weddings, anniversaries
- births, birthdays
- lifetime achievement
- memorials

How does a Tribute Fund work?
- Any individual(s) can ask that we create a personal Tribute
Fund
- You choose the goal of the Tribute Fund
- We keep track of all the contributions made to the Fund
- When the goal of the Fund is reached, special acknowledgments
are sent to the organizer(s) and/or to the person(s) honored
- Our field staff can help select a redwood
tree or grove.
