Planted Tree

For a gift of $50 we will plant a tree in the Santa Cruz Mountains; tree is not individually identified.

Legacy Grove at Big Basin

In the cool, cathedral-like redwood forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains, you can honor or remember a loved one or memorialize a special occasion with a permanent nameplate in our legacy grove. The grove is easily accessible and can be visited often. For a gift of $300 we will add a nameplate to the Legacy Grove plaque in Big Basin Redwoods State Park.

Dedicate a Redwood

Standing straight and tall, majestic coast redwood trees can be dedicated as living memorials or gifts. Depending on the age, size, location, and accessibility of the tree, you can dedicate a redwood tree in Big Basin Redwoods, Butano, or Castle Rock State Park for $500, $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000. We will place a nameplate at the base of the tree.

$500: Sempervirens Fund will choose the tree.
$1,000, $5000, $10,000, or $15,000: You can choose the tree or designate someone to choose it for you.

Waterfall Legacy Grove

Gazos Creek runs through the serene forest in Butano State Park. Next to one of the creek’s beautiful waterfalls is the Gazos Creek Waterfall Legacy Grove. For $2,500 we will add a nameplate to the Legacy Grove plaque located there.

Dedicate a Grove

From the majestic redwoods in Big Basin Redwoods and Butano State Parks to the peaceful forest lands of Castle Rock State Park, a dedicated grove is a lasting tribute to your generosity and commitment to the preservation of the coast redwoods. We encourage grove donors to visit the park with us to select the right place to honor and remember family and friends. Each dedicated grove is celebrated with a handsome wooden sign bearing the recipient’s name. Private organizations and service clubs may also dedicate groves. Dedicated groves start at $25,000.
