Celebrating the Life of Dan Seldow

Thanks to people like you, Dan’s Castle Rock Grove goal was reached in record time and a beautiful grove of trees is dedicated to Dan at his favorite hiking spot. The dedicated grove is marked with a sign and serves as a living tribute that will grow and thrive long into the future.

With your gift and others like it, we will protect redwood forests from subdivision and development, conserve wildlife habitat, and safeguard the waters that flow in our local creeks and streams. We will also continue our efforts to link together the public parks and other open spaces in the Santa Cruz Mountains to form one Great Park, a protected landscape of approximately 125,000 acres that spans from Pescadero Creek to Wilder Ranch State Park.

A Permanent Tribute

Dan Seldow’s Fraggle Rock Grove will stand as a permanent reminder of his love of the outdoors. We invite you to support the conversation and stewardship of the Santa Cruz Mountains with a donation towards Dan’s Grove. You can make double the impact by checking if your employer will match your donation.
