When: Thursday, May 2, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: Sempervirens Fund’s 38-acre Cobb Property, approximately 45 min. southeast of Pescadero. Meet in Downtown Pescadero and we will carpool to the property.
What: Join a small group of volunteers as we remove French broom on a property nestled between Butano State Park and Big Basin Redwoods State Park. This area contains Redwood Forests and Knob-Cone Pine Forests, with dry, chalky soils at high elevations, and scenic views!

Activities: Participants will pull invasive weeds by hand or using basic hand tools. Work will be moderately strenuous and may take place on sloped and uneven terrain. All tools, gloves, and gear will be provided by Sempervirens Fund, but if you have your own equipment we suggest bringing it along. We recommend wearing long-sleeved shirts, pants, and durable hiking shoes. Please bring your own lunch and plenty of water. Some snacks and beverages will be provided.
