When: Thursday, May 30, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

Where: Sempervirens Fund’s Jamison Creek property, approximately 15 minutes west of Boulder Creek. Meet in Boulder Creek, just outside of the Postal Office, and we will carpool to the property. 

What: Located on the eastern edge of Big Basin Redwoods State Park, this area contains some of the headwaters of Jamison Creek and beautiful waterfalls! Work will involve removing French broom throughout the property in a small group. 

Volunteers Needed: 10

Activities: Participants will pull invasive weeds by hand or using basic hand tools. Work will be moderately strenuous and may take place on sloped and uneven terrain. All tools, gloves, and gear will be provided by Sempervirens Fund, but if you have your own equipment we suggest bringing it along. We recommend wearing long-sleeved shirts, pants, and durable hiking shoes. Please bring your own lunch and plenty of water. Some snacks and beverages will be provided.
