Today, California State Parks manages the land around Castle Rock. But did you know that this park is situated on the ancestral territory of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe? Come hear stories and view artifacts from California State Park archaeologist Mark Hylkema, enjoy arts and crafts and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Latino Outdoors, and find out how the park is being used today from the Portola and Castle Rock Foundation and State Parks Rangers!
