Your tax receipt will reflect the fair market value of the cryptocurrency at the time of the donation, as determined by Every.org.

Q: Will I receive a tax receipt?

Yes. You will receive a tax receipt directly from Every.org, who will then convert your donation to U.S. dollars and transfer it to Sempervirens Fund.

Q: Are crypto donations refundable?

No. Once your crypto gift is confirmed on the blockchain, it cannot be refunded. Please make sure you enter the correct information before submitting your donation.

Q: Where does my donation go?

Every.org transfers the U.S. dollar equivalent of your donation directly to Sempervirens Fund to protect and restore redwoods. Sempervirens Fund will let you know how your gift is making a difference for redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

How it Works

We partner with Every.org, a trusted 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 61-1913297), to securely process crypto donations. When you click “Donate with Crypto,” you’ll be redirected to our donation form on their site.

Security & Privacy: All donations are processed through Every.org’s secure platform. Sempervirens Fund never has access to your wallet information.
Conversion: Every.org automatically converts your crypto gift to U.S. dollars and transfers the funds to Sempervirens Fund.
Optional fee: Every.org adds a 10% donation to support their platform by default. You can opt out by unchecking the box before completing your gift.
